I dont know whether he was bemoaning the fact that there were no black men at wimbledon or saying that the WS were a good stand in for the absence of black men but it was not tastefully done, and left a nasty taste in my mouth. The only high point of the evening was the tribute to Nelson Mandela. I had no idea about the whole Springboks but thank God for Mandela who knew what it was to put differences aside for the love of country. Wish that the Republican party in America could see that.</content><link rel='edit' type='application/atom+xml' href='http://www.blogger.com/feeds/225463736201432497/204336432210745161/comments/default/3967831256291078401'/><link rel='self' type='application/atom+xml' href='http://www.blogger.com/feeds/225463736201432497/204336432210745161/comments/default/3967831256291078401'/><link rel='alternate' type='text/html' href='http://www.tennischick.net/2009/07/what-exactly-is-relevance-of-espys.html?showComment=1248184020374#c3967831256291078401' title=''/><author><name>Karen</name><uri>http://www.blogger.com/profile/13838462340734632101</uri><email>noreply@blogger.com</email></author><thr:in-reply-to xmlns:thr='http://purl.org/syndication/thread/1.0' href='http://www.tennischick.net/2009/07/what-exactly-is-relevance-of-espys.html' ref='tag:blogger.com,1999:blog-225463736201432497.post-204336432210745161' source='http://www.blogger.com/feeds/225463736201432497/posts/default/204336432210745161' type='text/html'/></entry></feed>
